Heather's Harmony Music Studio

 

I have been able to achieve great results with my students through teaching them the music that they love and the skills they need to play it. As a result my students have remained engaged in music, have great appreciation for music and are developing great skills in their performance, theory, aural and many are also able to improvise and compose music.

 

Success at ABRSM Exams

 

All my students pass their ABRSM exams to a very high level. We prepare them very thoroughly in their pieces, scales, sight readying and aural as well as supplementing the exam material with improvising, composition, theory, other pieces and plenty of performance practice either to an audience at a concert or regular filming and evaluation. As a result my students have achieved very high scores in all the sections of the exams.

 

We have a lot of fun leading up to exams. I like to make this as positive an experience for my students as possible and as a reward to my students for all their hard work I take them and their parent out for ice cream (in warm weather) or hot chocolate (in cold weather) to celebrate after their exam.

 

 

I hold regular concerts for my students to perform in

 

All of my students have the opportunity to perform in our studio concerts. I give these concerts twice a year and they are great events for students to show their friends and family what they have learned, watch other musicians, meet new friends and get inspired. It also gives them a goal to work towards.
